By chance, Carole Ledesma and Nathalie Jonqua first met in 1988 as co-workers at a fashionable boutique on boulevard St. Germain in Paris. The boutique was well known for its trendy styles, so it wasn't surprising that clothing manuafacturers from all over the world sent their representatives to report on the latest Parisian fashion trends and buy samples to take home to their designers.

Carole and Nathalie came to be well-known and trusted by these clients. They developed long-standing relationships, as well as real friendships. One of their prosperous clients suggested they visit New York and made available to them a chic Park Avenue apartment for the holiday. It was then that their own business relationship began, as Carole and Nathalie Fashion Reporting Service, winning two new clients and making contact with dozens of others.

In 1989, Carole and Nathalie left the boutique to officially open their fashion reporting service and make it available to manufacturers all over North America. It wasn't long before the quality of their reporting was reputed within the fashion industry and were working with about 50 clients in New York, Los Angeles and Montreal.

Now twelve years later the service they provide is still top-of-the-line and many of the clients they began with are still with them today.

Carole Ledesma is a native of Antony, a suburb of Paris, and Nathalie Jonqua was born in Bordeaux, but grew up in Paris. Both have children and live in Paris when not canvassing Europe for the latest in fashion or working with clients in North America.
